Hey there!
My name is Michelle and I'm a UX/Visual designer making people smile in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Arkansas, I'm bringing the southern charm and hospitality to the West Coast, leaving whispers of y'alls" wherever I go and enjoying the cool summer days with the lovely ocean breeze. I trekked my way here from Savannah, Ga where I attended SCAD, burning the midnight oil too often to count, earning my BFA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Photography.
During the week, you can catch me as a Senior Visual Designer on the global Mattel Games brand. As the lead designer for UNO, I spend my days developing graphics for the latest UNO Brand activations, Art Directing and working closely with vendors: ranging from our latest UNO Brand collaborators to Print Production work with our US Cards manufacturer. When I'm not designing, I'm doing gameplay testing with my coworkers, testing out board games from all around the world, learning what works and what doesn't when it comes to game design, packaging, and graphics, as well as gaining inspiration from everything that's current in the game industry.
On the weekends, you can find me catching the sunrise from various trails around LA on my quest to hike them all, (my favorite so far has been the hikes in Malibu and Santa Monica and if you haven't hiked to the breathtaking view on the top of Mesa Peak, you're missing out on an amazing view, just pack lots of water!!), trying cold brews from all the local coffee joints, and exploring all that LA has to offer in museums and inspiration.
